A Close Call: Itzsan Yakiniku Lidcombe Recovers from Garbage Truck Collision Sub-title: Our dedicated team swiftly responded to ensure the safety and well-being of all involved.

Our Itzsan Yakiniku Lidcombe branch experienced an unexpected event early on Monday morning when a garbage truck collided with the front of the restaurant. Thankfully, our team acted quickly to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved.

At approximately 6 am, the garbage truck crashed into the restaurant’s facade, leaving the driver trapped in his seat. Firefighters were promptly called to Joseph St in Lidcombe, where they used heavy machinery to remove the front of the truck and free the driver. By 7:30 am, the man was safely extricated and transported to the hospital via ambulance.

We are incredibly grateful that no one was inside the restaurant at the time of the accident, and our thoughts are with the driver as he recovers from his injuries. Our dedicated staff has been working diligently to assess the damage and begin the necessary repairs to ensure the restaurant can reopen as soon as possible.
